Mini-Documentary Exclusively in New York Sports Museum

After a gold-medal performance in the pole vault at the 1908 Olympics, A.C. Gilbert became a successful inventor of sports and toy products and the host of the first-ever sports radio show.

This mini-documentary traces breakthrough work Gilbert did in midtown Manhattan, shows why he earned the nickname The Man Who Saved Christmas, and ties in to a tour location at the Flatiron District building that was his company's Gilbert Hall of Science.
