Where does the ride go?

To more than 50 points of sports interest in midtown Manhattan. Collectively, they tell an exclusive story of how sports in New York has changed culture and society.

How do I get to the ride?

The departure location is posted on the Home and Contact pages of this website.

Is the tour for all ages?

Yes, although each guest younger than 14 must be accompanied by a guest older than 14.

Do we get out at some stops?

Yes. We will stop at a minimum of two points of interest so you can look around and take photos if you wish. For rides that feature a mid-tour meal, there will be a stop at Keens Steakhouse, the dining venue. We take guests inside other buildings on some private group tours.

How long does the experience last?

For those who take the ride only, the experience will last about three hours. For those who take the ride with a mid-tour lunch or dinner, the experience will last about four hours.

How much is a ticket?

There are two ticket prices, one for the tour ride with a special lunch or dinner and the other for the tour ride only. The cost of each appears after you select your preferred tour date(s) within the ticket reservation system. Each ticket price includes a New York Sports Tours premium baseball cap.

On tours that come with a meal, who's the sports figure dining with us?

Some of the individuals may be listed on the Tickets page next to their appearance dates and some are surprise hosts.

How many guests?

Each tour has a maximum of 23 guests.

Can I be with just my group?

Yes. For private group tours, please contact concierge@newyorksports.us.

Can I reserve a specific seat in the tour vehicle?

You can request one upon arrival for the tour. Seats are given on a first-come, first-served basis at the tour departure location.

Only for sports fans?

No. The experience is designed for those who consider themselves sports fans and those who do not.

What's the tour vehicle?

Our tours are conducted in a luxury customized Mercedes van on some days and a luxury customized Ford minibus on other days.

Is there a dress code?

No.

Are there restrooms?

Not in the tour vehicles, but there are designated stops for any passenger who needs a restroom stop.

What's the menu for a tour with a meal stop?

The menu items will be shown before or upon arrival at the restaurant and include multiple options including vegetarian meals.

What if I arrive late?

The tour ride starts promptly at the listed depature time. If you're running late, you will be able to meet us during the tour but not at the departure location. You will need to contact the tour concierge to arrange this. The concierge contact information will be in your ticket confirmation email.

Can I take photos?

Yes, outside the vehicle. No photography or video is allowed to be captured of inside the tour vehicle.

Can the tour provide handicapped seating?

Yes. Please contact New York Sports Tours with your request.

Can I get a refund if I don't show?

A full refund is available for cancellations at least seven days prior to the scheduled departure date. A 50 percent refund is available for cancellations within three to six days prior to the scheduled departure date. Refunds are not available for cancellations within the two days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes.

Can I store a bag on the tour?

Yes.
