Where does the tour start and finish?
The departure location outside Grand Central Terminal is detailed on the Home and Contact pages of this website. Each tour ends at Keens Steakhouse at 72 West 36th Street, located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in midtown Manhattan, fewer than a dozen blocks from the tour start location.
Where does the tour ride go?
To more than 70 locations from sports history in midtown Manhattan. Collectively, they tell an exclusive story of how sports in New York has changed culture and society.
Is the tour for all ages?
Yes, although each guest younger than 14 must be accompanied by a guest older than 14.
Do we get out of the vehicle on the tour?
If you'd like. At at least one point of interest, we will stop so that you can get out and take photos if you'd like. For tours that feature a lunch or dinner, guests will be able to explore our dining venue, Keens Steakhouse. We take guests inside other buildings on some private group tours.
How long is the tour?
For those who take the ride only, the experience will last about three hours. For those who take the ride with a lunch or dinner, the experience will last about four hours. If needed, any guest can depart the experience any any point while it's in progress.
How much is a ticket?
There are two ticket prices, one for the tour ride with a special lunch or dinner and the other for the tour ride only. The cost of each appears after you select your preferred tour date(s) within the ticket reservation system.
Who's the sports figure at the meals?
For those tours that finish with a meal with a sports figure, some of the figures may be listed on the Tickets page next to their appearance dates. Others are surprise hosts. For a look at some of the previous hosts, please visit the Keens Host page on this website.
How many guests are on each tour?
Each tour has a maximum of 23 guests. For private group tours, please contact New York Sports Tours.
Can I reserve a specific seat in the vehicle?
You can request one upon arrival for the tour. Seats are given on a first-come, first-served basis at the tour departure location.
Is the tour only for sports fans?
No. The experience is designed for those who consider themselves sports fans and those who do not.
What comes with the ticket price?
For the ride and meal experience, included is the guided tour, the meal at Keens with a special sports host and a premium New York Sports Tours baseball cap. For the ride-only experience, the price includes all except the meal and time at Keens. In addition, there is complimentary bottled water available for all guests during the tour ride.
What's the vehicle and is there storage space?
Our tours are conducted in a luxury customized Mercedes van on some days and a luxury customized Ford minibus on other days. There is space to store personal bags.
Is there a dress code?

Not in the tour vehicles, but there are designated stops for any passenger who needs a restroom stop.
What's the menu for the tour with a meal?
For each tour that includes a meal, the menu items will be shown before or upon arrival at the restaurant and include multiple options including vegetarian meals.
What if I arrive late?
The tour ride starts promptly at the listed depature time. If you're running late, you will be able to meet us during the tour but not necessarily at the departure location. You will need to contact the tour concierge to confirm a meeting spot. The concierge contact information will be in your ticket confirmation email.
Can I take photos?
Yes, outside the vehicle. No photography or video is allowed to be captured of inside the tour vehicle.

A ticket transfer and cancellation policy?
You may transfer your ticket.
A full refund is available for cancellations at least seven days prior to the scheduled departure date. A 50 percent refund is available for cancellations within three to six days prior to the scheduled departure date. Refunds are not available for cancellations within the two days prior to the scheduled departure date.
The experience covers dozens of spectator sports — baseball, football, basketball, soccer, tennis, boxing, hockey, swimming, cycling, wrestling, gymnastics, track and field and road running, to name a few.
Which languages are used?
At this time, the tour is only offered in English.
